Welcome to the Delta Huskies softball homepage! This site is all about softball and the Delta High girl's softball team. It will have the team's roster, including what positions people play, and the playing schedule for the entire season. The site will also be updated as often as possible to keep the public aware of how the team is doing and what games they have won or lost. The final scores will also be included, along with comments about amazing plays, steals, hits, etc. This site will not only keep the public up-to-date about the games and team, it will also be an informative site about the game itself. I know what it's like to watch a game and not know what is going on or why a certain call was made, so I thought that the public might like a run-down of the game, rules, etc. Learn the basic terms, how to play the game, and what positions there are. You can even read about what a coach usually looks for in players when he/she is filling positions. The Delta High Girls' softball team is made up of about 11 girls. Every player is very important to the team, and each girl brings something special with her: skill, determination, humor, support, etc. The players are all very close, and we have found strong bonds that make us like a very large, goofy family. Don't believe me? Well, then come see for yourself at the next home game. Over the past few years, the softball crowds have been dwindling, so any support will be much appreciated by the players and the parents. Cheer your softball players on to victory. Go Huskies!
